I am thinking of something that one might call a good idea. You see... after the heavy downpour some weeks ago, damages could be seen in many places around Serian. I wrote to the Borneo Post on the 19/2 about the Terbat road, which link my school and 6 bidayuh villages with the Mongkos Road. The road was damaged in many sections and needed some repair works. After that the Kedup assemblyman responded to the report. But it was very disappointing. He gave us reasons and excuses ONLY. Until now the road is still in poor condition and getting worse.
Anyway, what I am thinking now is;
- Report to us here about all the damages (that caused by the disaster) that happened at your kampung and so on, to be published here. If possible, include somes photos of the damages. We might even go a bit futher. How about we compile all the reports and submit them to the assemblymen? Give them more work to do. Afterall, they are the people's reps, aite??
